Here’s What Our Customers Are Saying About Us.
Totally Fantastic
Fantastic cooking course. Fantastic food (and lunch – the food we made with Mam’s help). Interesting and enjoyable visit to a large local market. And Mam and Bjorn are fantastic and fully focused on ensuring their guests get the most our of the cooking course. Lots of great meals to choice from. Pick up and drop off at the BTS was really easy and worked seamlessly. I cannot recommend this cooking course enough. We did the private course. I recommended it for the personal attention you have to get. Well worth the cost. (Originally posted at TripAdvisor)
Great Experience
This wonderful experience exceeded our expectation. Our hostess was super friendly and organized. Everything was fresh and clean. During the session she both explained and demonstrated and also made sure we had hands-on experience ourselves. The dishes were very successful due to her expertise and guidance. The recipes were very clear and professionally explained. All I all a great experience and we highly recommend it for anyone visiting Bangkok and interested in authentic Thai cooking. Thoroughly Enjoyed Cooking Thai Food
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed cooking Thai food with Mam. We were picked up promptly at the designated train location by Mam and her husband and driven to their clean, air conditioned home for the cooking session. Mam selected four traditional Thai dishes for us to prepare, as we had no preference. She guided us in making the meals and conversing with us as we chopped, grounded, and stir-fried ingredients. The prepared Thai food was delicious and plentiful. We even had left overs for the following day. At the conclusion of our cooking event, Mam’s husband drove us back to the Bearing train station. Mam and her husband were extremely hospitable in welcoming us to their home for this activity. I would highly recommend this excursion! (Originally posted at Expedia)
Highly Recommended Bangkok Activity
This was a fun experience not to be missed. Mam (our host) was very friendly & accomodating. She made early contact after we made our booking. We were asked if we had any specific dietary requests & gave good instructions how to get to our meeting point. We were taught how to prepare & cook 4 dishes which were very tasty. On completion Mam provided a list of popular activities & sights of Bangkok, as well as the recipes & photos of our time together. A highly recommended activity to do while in Bangkok. Thai Cooking Made Easy
Me and my wife had booked a class for our anniversary. She altered the menu to teach us recipes that we wanted to learn. Her recipes are easy to remember and prepare. I would highly recommend her. Would definitely come back for more of our favorite Thai dishes.
Thanks a ton Mam. (Originally posted at TripAdvisor)

A Great Experience
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our day with Mam and her Norwegian husband Bjørn. Visiting the local market was a very authentic experience and we got to try some of the food there. Afterwards we drove to their home where we cooked four dishes of our own choice. Mam had some suggestions but we were allowed to make changes which was great.
During the food making Bjørn took photos which were sent along with the recipes to us afterwards. That was really nice! 😀
We are not very experienced in the kitchen but Mam explained everything really well. The food tasted amazing and we are so excited to try the recipes here at home in Denmark
After we ate the delicious food, Bjørn drove us back to the station. He told us a lot about Thailand and the Thai people and we got some great suggestions on what to see in Bangkok.
We highly recommend spending a day making some delicious food with Mam 😀 (Originally posted at TripAdvisor)
Learning To Cook Delicious Dishes
What a good experience in here, and patient to teach me how to cook those delious dishes, especially the Thai Red Curry is amazing, I was so glad to learn and I will cook this by myself in future and share the great food with my friends and family. (Originally posted at AirBNB)
Enjoyable Experience
My husband and I really enjoyed this class. The recipes were simple enough to prepare and the hosts were able to add their own special modifications to some more traditional recipes.
The host had a good sense of humour and you could see that she really loved teaching others how to cook.
I recommend this class (Originally posted at TripAdvisor)
Fantastic!
I got to cook the dishes I love not just pad Thai and green curry like most of the other schools offered! Mam was an excellent teacher and we had a fabulous time! (Originally posted at Cookly)
Private Cooking Class
Our private cooking class with Mam ended up being the highlight of our trip to Bangkok. Booking was a cinch as Mam replied quickly to inquiries and we could prepay for the class at our convenience.
Our day started with Mam and her husband Bjorn picking us up from the Bearing BTS station and making a short drive to visit a totally local market. We were the only tourists in this bustling market, and Mam deftly guided us through the numerous stalls and explained the ingredients we would be using for our chosen dishes. We got to see different sections of the markets including vendors for vegetables, fresh seafood, chili/fish pastes, prepared food, etc. This trip was very fun and showed a side to Bangkok rarely seen by tourists.
After wrapping up, we made the short drive to Mam’s lovely home nearby where the cooking actually occurs. My fiance and I really enjoyed this set up, as it felt more personal than a big cooking studio and the strict cleanliness/hygiene Mam maintains in her kitchen was easily evident. We made four dishes in total under Mam and Bjorn’s guidance. As teachers, they struck a great balance between hands on instruction and letting us do things ourselves. Highlights of the cooking process included pounding curry paste in a mortar and pestle and frying our own fish. Aside from the dishes we chose, Mam also showed us how to make some essential Thai condiments and even cut up some fresh mango from the market as dessert. With her and Bjorn’s instruction, we made one of the best meals we ate on our trip to Thailand. The meal packed plenty of flavor while still having a home cooked taste.
My Thai Cooking Class has been around for about a year and, as such, may not be as popular as some of the alternatives on TripAdvisor, but I highly recommend you check out this cooking class for a truly authentic Bangkok market experience, delicious food, and warm hospitality. Professional & Tasty Service
Great experience. Mam & Bjørn are a wonderful couple providing a very informative, professional & tasty service with this Thai food making course. Started in the market which has a great atmosphere, then make food from scratch & then ate every bit of it. Yum, yum. Highly recommend. (Originally posted on Google)
Great Value Workshop
We were so happy that we did everything from prep work through cooking. Mam’s workshop was a great value as we cooked 4 different dishes from scratch and had a feast when we sat down to eat. We had so much fun and really learned how to make the dishes from scratch including curry paste. We absolutely recommend Mam’s class! (Originally posted at Eatwith)

Great Cooking Class In Bangkok
It was great cooking class in Bangkok . Host and husband pick us up in pickup point by car. We made 4 different dishes and got a lot of tips for that. Host was very humorous and kind. If you have some issue in English with host, her husband can explain to you. End of class, host gave us local trip advice memo. It’s very helpful for us. Thank you for your class. Excellent!I got to learn to make my favorite Thai dish!
Other schools all seem to make the same 4 dishes. My Thai was perfect in every way! I enjoyed the market tour but it was the personable welcoming and relaxed service from Mam and Bjorn that made our day spectacular. Also, I got to learn to make our favorite Thai dishes, Khao soi (Chiang Mai curry noodles with chicken) and pad gra pao moo sap (ground minced pork with long beans and chilis)!
