When I signed up for this course I did not know what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised. Mam is extremely organized and her husband was also a great help. He answered many of my questions. No meal request was out of the question. I learned so much and left feeling that I could replicate very expensive meals by myself. If you are looking for something to do in Thailand I highly recommend signing up for this course. Mam is definitely and expert and has the help needed to make sure that all of your questions will be answered. .I am very confident that you will leave more knowledge then when you started your course with Mam. If you can bring a friend then not only will you and your travel mate learn the how tostados of Thai cooking but you will hopefully bond over a one of a kind cooking experience….To perspective travelers.I wish you the best in your Thailand adventures and lastly Mam and the crew thank you so kindly for introducing me to Thailand food. נפגשנו עם Mum ליד השוק המקומי הממוקם ליד הבית שלה. שם עשינו סיור וקניות לפי ההמלצות שלה.
משם הסיע אותנו בעלה עד לביתם שממוקם בשכונה מאוד נחמדה.
ואז התחלנו לבשל -בארבע מנות על פי הבחירה שלנו .
הייתה חווית בישול נעימה , מקצועית ורצינית.
לאחר מכן ישבנו לאכול את הבישולים שיצאו מדהים. כמו כן שלחה לי במייל את המתכונים ותמונות שצילמה .

Amazing!! This lovely couple welcomed us into their home which is professional set up for a small intimate cooking experience. We had so much fun and enjoyed cooking with our teacher as she showed us authentic Thai cuisine and preparation. During the class we asked questions and she explained clearly and offered advise on sourcing ingredients in our own country. Afterwards recipes and phots were emailed to us and they even gave us a list of other local activities we could do which was much appreciated. The Dining table was set and we got to eat the freshly cooked meals we had made whilst they were hot and delicious. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bangkok and whether you can cool or not try this class as it will be the best food you each during your trip. Really good cooking course – totally recommend
The whole thing is so convenient – right from the easy to use website, to the logistics of getting to the house, to selection of dishes and special requirements etc etc.
Mam is a lovely warm person and puts you at ease instantly. It doesnt matter what level of cooking knowledge you have – she can tailor the instructions to suit you.
The course is well organised and set up. Everything is ready and waiting. Last minute changes are accommodated as far as possible
I went with my 12 year old son and we both learnt so much! I feel comfortable attempting these dishes at home and quite confident that I can (largely) recreate the taste. My 12 year old walked away with a huge interest in cooking – so I am very happy!
The food tasted amazing. what we couldnt eat was given to us in take away containers. The following day we ordered take away from a local well know restaurant and EVERYONE preferred the food I had brought home from the course!
When I showed an interest in purchasing the mortar/pestle that she used, she took me to the local market and helped me purchase it.
I really cant praise this course enough!

The big advantage of the My Thai Cooking courses is, even if you are in a join in class, you can select one individual diish. For a private cooking session, they make suggestions and you can discuss your preferances via e-mail.The booking process is very professional and effective, as is their website. The cooking take place in a private home and is very structured. I can really recommend a cooking class with My Thai Cooking. I had a free night on a recent trip to Bangkok and decided I would learn to cook some of my favorite Thai dishes. This was an excellent experience. I learned to prepare the dishes I selected, from scratch, and from someone who obviously loved to cook and understood how to handle the ingredients. It was a very relaxing, very enjoyable experience in a very friendly context. I plan to do this again with this provider the next time I’m in Bangkok. I would love to bring my kids along too. We went with our kids and we had a great time. One of the advantages with MAM is that You can choose the dishes that you want to cook. The Market tour was very nice. Mama and her husband are very nice people and that host us in their home in a very kind way. They also gave a long list about places around BANGKOK that we should go and visit. My wife and I took this class along with our son (who lives/works in Bangkok) and his roommate. We all enjoyed the hands on experience. We were greeted at the meeting point by Mam and her husband who then took us to a local market pointing out all the local delicacies and buying treats for us to taste as we wondered though the market. We were then driven to her home where we proceeded to make four delicious recipes of our choosing. I reviewed all the cooking classes available and was glad we chose this one. Mam and her husband picked us up at the meeting point and took us straight to the local market. They took great care in showing both my husband and I around the market, pointing out ingredients that we were unfamiliar with. They even bought some local fruit for us to try.

After the market, we were driven to Mam’s house for our cooking class. We had selected 4 dishes from the menu, which Mam carefully provided step by step instructions to make. It was fantastic to gain the knowledge of such a knowledgeable cook and learn how to make Thai pastes for our dishes from scratch.

Once we had finished cooking we sat down and enjoyed all the food we had prepared. The food tasted authentic and it was all delicious. We are confident that we will be able to replicate the recipes at home, but Mam has offered advice should we need it in the future.

We were extremely well looked after and nothing seemed too much trouble. All in all a great experience and highly recommended.

I had such a blast learning how to cook some of my favorite Thai dishes. What name is experience so special was the fact that I was able to personalize the menu to include the items I really wanted to learn how to make. Mam & Bjorn are so sweet and you can tell that they love cooking and food. I learned how to make Tom Kah, Massaman Curry, Jungle Curry & Fried Morning Glory salad! Their home is beautiful and they were very warm and open! We shared a lot of laughs. I was even able to take left overs and share it with my friends (who also loved it). They now want to join! If you’re looking for authentic Thai food, this is the pls m experience to choose. We made everything from scratch ( no msg). She even helped me understand how to cook another favorite of mine and how to round out the flavors of something is missing. Overall I had a blast and I can’t wait to try these dishes at home! It was so easy to find the location where I met Mam and her husband. It was a very personalized experience where I learned so much of Thai culture and cooking. We got to make several recipes that gave me an explosion of the tastebuds. The market tour was very fun filled with all locals going about their daily business. I loved it so much. The highlight of my holiday. We were welcomed into Mams home and taught the 4 delicious authentic Thai recipes. Completely hands on and so much fun. Recipes & photos emailed to us so we can share and recreate our cooking back home
I highly recommend to all who wish to experience a truely authentic experience and I will definitely be booking again next time I’m In Thailand.

Mam and her husband, made this experience unforgettable, they were very friendly and welcoming. They took us to a local market, an authentic traditional market where the locals get their food, then they offered us to return to their home in a tuk tuk. They took in consideration my allergies to seafood and adjusted the menu. We made the best Pad Thai ever (thanks to her of course), as a matter of fact, We will never get that dish in a restaurant, Mam’s Chicken pad Thai is the best ever. We also did a Green Papaya salad, a minced pork salad with Thai herbs and spices and massaman curry with beef, every single dish were made from scratch m, they were delicious and large portions. Their knowledge of the ingredients and the preparation was excellent. They keep everything spotlessly clean and perfectly organized. After eating We had a chance to spend time and hear a lot of their everyday lifestyle. We recommend this experience without a doubt. We would do it again when we come back to Bangkok.
