Overall it was a great experience. It was clear that Mam was very passionate and knowledgeable about Thai cuisine. She was friendly, approachable, and willing to address any questions or concerns. I’ve been to a couple cooking classes and none felt as personal as this one. I was by myself and was able to really share moments with the wonderful couple that hosts this. They picked me up promptly and we began cooking immediately. Everything was so authentic and we worked so quickly but without feeling hurried! We tasted and tried everything together to adjust the spices to our liking– it was like cooking with a close relative or someone’s mother! And then… oh man.. the FOOD! It was so so yummy and there was so much of it that I took home enough for two more meals. Wow. I highly recommend if you want a personalized experience and excellent Thai food. It was my first time to join the cooking class in thai. And I had a great experience on it. I am not use to cook. So my tutor helped me a lot. She used the easy way to teach me. We love this Thai food experience with My Thai Cooking. It was exceptional, we learned to elaborate 4 typical Thai dishes and a very traditional dessert. This was such a fun experience and far more personal than other cooking classes I’d experienced! We made DELICIOUS food and there was so much that the hosts packaged up to go bags for me. I was the only one there and they accommodated all my needs and even printed out recommendations for Bangkok for me! They were prompt but I never felt rushed. Highly recommend! My girlfriend and I had an excellent time! Mam was very attentive, and clearly very passionate and knowledgeable about Thai cuisine. We were given a tour of a local market that we would have otherwise not found on our own, which was an amazing experience in itself. The cooking experience was great, friendly, and comprehensive. Mam took the time and effort to really show us the ropes, explain the ingredients/methods, and answer any questions and concerns we had throughout the experience. Great first hand experience cooking Thai dishes. You can learn to cook your favorite Thai dish from scratch and taste like the The ingredients provided was fresh and all dish were prepared from scratch and no artificial flavor was used. Instructions was clear and easy to understand. You just need to enjoy the cooking process as recipe will be provided at the end of the class.  (originally posted on Cookly)

Loved the market tour. Had an amazing time learning to cook authentic Thai dishes. You make SO much food, it can be leftovers for a couple days after. I had an amazing experience attending this cooking class. My boyfriend and I were picked up at the local train station by Mam and her husband in their private car. They were super inviting and personable and they greeted us as we were close friends. They asked us if we wanted to go to the local market as it was optional. We wanted to go and had a great time there. they walked us through the different sections of the market and we were even lucky enough to see hard coconut being put through a shredder and we later used the shredded coconut in our curry!! after going through the local market, they drove us to their beautiful home which was just a short drive away. there, we cooked the 4 dishes we chose before booking through their website. we chose, shrimp pad Thai, curry, basil pork, flat noodle with pork etc. the portions were huge and it was so Delicious. we were able to even use a legit sized mortar and pestle to grind our own spices when making our curry. i really enjoyed that process and would def remember that !! the food tasted amazing and mam was so friendly. i really loved taking her cooking class. her cooking class is suitable for all types of people; solo travelers, families with small kids who want to do something different, our a couple who wants to do something romantic.

all the ingredients are super fresh and clean.
